# A .ai domain for € 125 per year

We register it in your name, with DNS management in your client portal. The domain stays yours: you can always take it to another provider.

## Handled without the hassle

- **In your name**: You are the registrant, not us. You request the transfer code yourself in your client portal, so you can always take the domain with you.
- **DNS in your client portal**: Change records yourself in the portal, or let us do it. The latter costs you nothing.
- **Hosting too if you want**: Just the domain is fine. Want a site or email with it? Hosting starts from € 65 per year.

## Good to know

### Why do I have to register for 2 years right away?

That is a rule of the .ai registry itself: the domain is always registered for at least two years. After that you renew yearly.

### How do I know if my .ai domain is still available?

WhatsApp or email us the name you want; we check it and you hear the same day whether it is available. If it is taken, we help you think of alternatives.

### Can I transfer my existing .ai domain to you?

Yes. You request the transfer code from your current provider and we handle the rest. The remaining term carries over; you only pay our rate at the next renewal.

### Do I own the domain myself?

Yes. The domain is in your name or your company's, with your details as registrant. We are only listed as administrator, so we can manage the DNS for you. We do that free of charge.

### Can I take the domain with me later?

Always. You request the transfer code yourself in your client portal, free of charge and without having to wait for us. Holding on to a domain that wants to leave is no way to do business.

### Do I have to host with you?

No. Just the domain name is fine; you then point the DNS to wherever your site and email are. If you do want hosting with it, that starts at € 65 per year.

### How does renewal work?

We let you know well in advance that the renewal is coming up and what it costs. Renewal is yearly at € 125; if you do not want to renew, just let us know.
