# Custom scripts that do what you need

Sometimes a twenty-line script beats a plugin with two hundred settings. We write the small tools that solve your specific problem, and nothing more than that.

## What kind of scripts?

Usually it's work that is just too specific for existing software, but comes back too often to keep doing by hand.

- **Import and export**: Converting product files, price lists or customer data between formats that don't get along. Including checks on what goes wrong.
- **Clean-up scripts**: Duplicate records, orphaned files, bloated tables and data left behind by plugins that were removed long ago.
- **Cron jobs**: Work that has to run at set times: syncing, reporting, checking or cleaning up. With an alert if something goes wrong.
- **Small plugins**: A piece of functionality that WordPress or Magento doesn't have, built to survive an update.
- **Migration tools**: Moving data between systems, with a test run first so you see the end result before it actually happens.

## Custom script

**€ 75** per hour, excl. VAT

- Estimate up front, nothing open-ended
- Fixed price for a clear assignment
- Tested first, then live
- Changes later are no problem

Small scripts often take just a few hours. You get the estimate up front, so you know whether it's worth it.

## Need more than a single script?

If it's about connecting systems or a process that needs to be fully automated, take a look at Automation & AI.

## Good to know

### Can it be changed later?

Certainly, at the same hourly rate. Because it's clear code and not a plugin maze, a change is usually a matter of an hour or so.

### What if the script stops working?

If the script itself is at fault, we fix it free of charge. If something changes in a system it talks to, for example a modified API, we adapt it at the hourly rate.

### Do you also work on my own server?

Yes, as long as we get sufficient access. We work on a test environment or a copy of the data first, so nothing goes wrong in your production environment.
