    Patching and hardening

    Closing the entry point itself: outdated plugins, weak passwords, permissions and access. Then hardening the site further.

    You get it in black and white: what we found, what we did and what you can do yourself to prevent it.

How soon can you start?
Usually the same day, outside office hours too. WhatsApp us your URL and what you see; you will hear shortly whether we can pick it up right away.
Will my site stay online during the clean-up?
Usually, yes. If the infection is so serious that visitors are at risk, we put a temporary maintenance page in front of it. We discuss that with you first.
Do you guarantee it will not come back?
No, and nobody could honestly promise that. What we do: seal the breach where it got in and shield the site further. Add a maintenance contract and we keep an eye on updates and warning signs afterwards, and recovery from a new infection is included, as long as passwords are strong and our advice on unsafe plugins has been followed.
Does this work for Magento too?
Yes. With Magento it is often skimmers in the checkout or an outdated extension. Same approach: clean up, close the entry point and then a report of what was going on.
Does my site have to be hosted with you?
No. We also work on the hosting you have now, as long as we get enough access. If the hosting itself turns out to be the problem, we tell you instead of working around it.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to the site and the hosting, and a short note on what you noticed: since when, which warning, what is different. That saves searching, and so time.
