Privacy policy

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics. Below is exactly which data we do process, and why.

Fedelta Media (hereinafter: "Fedelta Media", "we" or "us") considers your privacy important. In this privacy policy we explain which personal data we process, why we do so, how long we keep data and what rights you have. This is a translation for convenience; in case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Who is responsible?

Fedelta Media is the controller for the personal data that we process through this website and our communication channels.

Do you have questions about this privacy policy or would you like to submit a privacy request? Please contact us at [email protected], at 085-1300432 or through the contact form on this site.

Fedelta Media, Jipsingboertangerweg 109, 9551 TP Sellingen. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 55262937.

2. Who does this privacy policy apply to?

This privacy policy applies to visitors to fedelta.media, to people who contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp or the contact form, and to clients and contacts of (prospective) clients.

3. Which personal data do we process?

Depending on how you use our website or contact us, we may process the following data:

  • Contact and company details such as name, company name, (billing) address, email address, telephone number and, where applicable, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number.
  • Communication data such as the content of messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form, and any attachments.
  • Website and log data such as IP address, date and time, browser information and technical logging needed for the security and operation of the site.
  • Invoicing and administrative data for performing agreements and complying with legal obligations.

We do not process special categories of personal data and do not use profiling or automated decision-making.

4. What do we use personal data for and on what legal basis?

We only process personal data when there is a valid legal basis for doing so.

  • Contact and quotation requests: to answer questions, prepare quotations and maintain contact. Legal basis: legitimate interest and taking pre-contractual steps.
  • Performance of agreements: for hosting, domain names, DNS and email, WordPress maintenance and security, page speed optimization and custom development. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Invoicing and administration: for invoicing, bookkeeping and statutory tax retention obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • Security and prevention of misuse: to secure our systems and to prevent and investigate misuse, fraud and attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

5. The contact and urgent request forms

If you fill out the contact form or the urgent request form, we process your name, email address, the content of your message and your IP address. We use this data solely to handle your question or report.

To prevent spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. This sends technical information about your browser to Cloudflare to determine whether you are a human. We have configured Turnstile so that it places no cookies and does not track visitors across websites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.

Your message reaches Fedelta Media as an email. You also receive a confirmation by email yourself. For an urgent request we also send your name and a shortened version of your message as a text message to our own phone, so that an urgent report is really treated as urgent, even outside office hours.

6. Retention periods

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.

  • Email, including contact requests, quotations and urgent reports: for as long as it is relevant to the administration. Because invoices and administrative data must be kept for at least seven years, in practice that period also applies to the related correspondence.
  • Communication via WhatsApp: for as long as needed for handling and record-keeping. If you want us to delete a conversation on our side, please let us know.
  • Invoices and administrative data: at least 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention obligation.
  • Log and security data: as briefly as possible and proportionate, in line with the security purpose.

7. Cookies, tracking and statistics

This website places no cookies on your device and uses no tracking. There is no Google Analytics or similar statistics service running, there are no advertising pixels and no cookie banner is needed.

The website runs behind Cloudflare, which acts as a CDN and security layer. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to block attacks and deliver the site quickly.

8. Where is your data stored?

This website and our services run on Fedelta Media's own infrastructure within the European Union . That is where your data is stored and processed. The backups are also encrypted and kept within the EU.

Two things go through an external party. Cloudflare delivers the website and blocks attacks; in doing so, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, also outside the EU. This takes place under appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. In addition, for an urgent request your name and a shortened version of your message are sent as a text message via an external text messaging service.

9. Sharing personal data with third parties

We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share personal data when this is necessary for our services, to comply with legal obligations or with your consent.

To provide our services we use processors, such as data center and network suppliers, an external backup location, email services, a text messaging service, domain registrars and Cloudflare. Where necessary we conclude data processing agreements with processors and require them to take appropriate security measures.

Where these processors process your data is described under "Where is your data stored?" above.

10. Reviews on this website

On the homepage and the About us page we show reviews that clients have left publicly on Google. We take the first name or company name as publicly shown with the review, together with the text and the rating. If you want your review removed from our site, let us know at [email protected] and we will take it down.

11. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. Think of access restriction, account isolation on our servers, up-to-date systems, encrypted connections and monitoring. No security measure offers a one hundred percent guarantee.

For hosting, domain registration and security we work with suppliers that are certified for this, including to ISO 27001.

12. Your rights

Under the GDPR (AVG) you have several rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also withdraw consent you have previously given.

Do you want to exercise your rights? Contact us at [email protected]. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within one month at the latest.

13. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy if our services or the law change. The most current version is always on this page.
