WordPress maintenance

Updates, monitoring and security,
for € 45 per month

Outdated plugins are the number one reason WordPress sites get hacked.
We keep your site up to date; you only hear from us when it's needed.

What we do

This is what we do for your site

No vague promises: this is what is covered by default for every site under maintenance.

  • Core, plugin and theme updates

Installed automatically as soon as they are released; major versions we do by hand. However many updates come out that month, the rate stays the same.

  • Checking that everything still works

We regularly check that pages and forms still work. If an update changes or breaks something, we fix it free of charge.

  • Monitoring for suspicious signals

We watch for repeated failed logins and attempts from unusual countries. If you host with us, we also monitor day and night whether the server is reachable.

  • Brute-force blocking

If we see a clear attack pattern, we block the source. That way brute-force attempts on your login page don't stand a chance.

  • Recovery after infection

If your site does get infected, we clean it up. Almost always free of charge, as long as passwords are strong and advice about unsafe plugins has been followed.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know

Do you also work with WooCommerce?
Yes, many sites under maintenance are WooCommerce shops. Updates to WooCommerce and its related plugins are simply covered by the contract.
What if an update breaks my site?
Then we roll it back and find out what went wrong. Before updating we make a backup, and afterwards we check that the most important pages and forms still work. Recovery after an update costs you nothing.
Does my site have to be hosted with you?
No, maintenance also works on the hosting you have now. There are two things we can't do then: monitor whether the server is reachable, and step in if the problem lies with the hosting itself. If your site runs with us, that is included.
What is not covered by the contract?
New functionality, design work and building or rewriting pages fall outside it. We do that separately, at € 75 per hour, and always with an estimate up front. The contract covers keeping what is already there up to date and secure.
How long am I locked in?
The contract runs per year, with a notice period of one month. Invoicing is every six months or yearly, whichever suits you.
What happens if my site does get hacked?
Then we clean it up and seal the breach, at no extra cost. This guarantee applies as long as passwords are strong and you have followed our advice about unsafe plugins. Nobody can completely rule out that it ever happens; what we can do is make sure it is rare and over quickly.
